Please call before booking. Comforting and gentle in-home massage for those in hospice care. Based on your needs and physical limitations, this may include feet, legs, hands and/or scalp massage, even full body massage if appropriate. You are always in control of the pressure used and the length of time, whether it's just a few minutes or a full hour. We can stop any time you feel uncomfortable or need a break. Physician approval will be required.
This massage, performed in the comfort of your home or vacation rental, is customized to your needs for an utterly relaxing, unwinding treatment. I'll bring a comfy massage table, soft linens and soothing music. Available in Kanab only. Contact me for other locations!
The Mantra Massage is a Backcountry Bodywork original. This two part session reduces chronic and wide-spread pain caused by scar tissue, physical trauma, and postural changes. The goal is to loosen muscles and joints constricted by myofascial tissue. In the 30 minutes of part one I teach you tennis ball rolling so you can continue this therapy between sessions. Part two combines an hour of slow moving pressure, trigger point holds and stretching. Ever wish you and your partner could give each other a great home massage without hurting your hands? We'll spend one hour working on you, one hour working on your partner. You'll learn techniques to provide effective relief for tight muscles and proper body mechanics prevent tired hands while doing so.
A full 30 minutes dedicated to relieving tension in the face, head, neck and/or shoulders. Trigger point work, stretching, muscle energy techniques, lymphatic drainage and hot or cold stones are a few tools I can use.

Performed comfortably in a side-laying position and face up. Add on a 30 minute warm oil pour hair and scalp treatment and make this the perfect treat! This is the ultimate stress, depression and anxiety relief treatment. In this classic Ayurvedic treatment, warmed coconut oil infused with aromatic essential oil is poured from a special copper pot and slowly drizzled over the third eye. The oil cascades over the scalp and hair. The pour is followed by a long scalp massage, working the oil into every strand of hair. You'll sleep better after, feel completely calm and ready for anything the world has in store for you. *Book this first, then book the massage. This avoids the buffer time added to massage appointments.
Exfoliating and detoxifying, this scrub creates a sense of calm, safety and nourishment as it naturally relaxes your sympathetic nervous system, our "fight or flight" system. Warm prickly pear juice, harvested from right here on our 10 acre property, provides the slip for the application of a Himalayan salt scrub. A nourishing and deeply cleansing bentonite clay from the Nevada desert is applied and allowed to soak in while you get a lovely scalp massage, wrapped up in warm steamed towels. Sugar scrub can be substituted for those with sensitive skin.

Backcountry Bodywork & Dark Sky RV Campground invite the community to a deeply healing 60 minute session of self care. Meet us at 7:30pm at Dark Sky every 1st & 3rd Tuesdays. Includes fascia rolling, guided meditation & crystal sound bath. Fascia rollers provided. Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel. Cash or Venmo. Exact change appreciated.
